The VibroMet 500V is based on a patented electro-optical configuration developed by MetroLaser. The system consists of a remote laser sensor head and an electronic controller.

The system is compact, inexpensive and easy to use on all surfaces for non-destructive component testing or for non-contact vibration measurements suitable.
The measuring technique was developed and optimized for measurement distances betwen laser and the object under test from 1 cm to 5m.
The system does not need any laser focussing or an adjustment of the optical system.
A surface treatment, like preparing with white color, is in the moste cases not nessecary.
